Copy/Paste or otherwise enter multiple load entries to be added in the text box below.
Guidelines
- Ensure each full-load entry is on a separate line (hit "Enter" on your keyboard after PayAmount is entered). If your data came from a text file and each entry is on a different line in that file, then just copying/pasting will do the trick.
- Fields must be separated by a tilde (~ this is the shift of the key left of the "1" key). Do not put a tilde before the first field or after the last field.
- Put no blanks/spaces before or after the tilde.
- Coordinates for misspelled city names probably cannot be determined and therefore will cause the load entry to be rejected.
- Information for all load entries you enter must be entered correctly before any will be processed (appropriate help/error messages will be displayed).
- Company, Contact and Phone will be used from your account information.
- If the ID you enter as the first field, attached to your username, is already in the database, then this database entry will be updated with the information you provide rather than a new entry added to the database. Be careful about sharing a username with more than one person using this feature.
- Fields (layout and names below):
- ID is to identify this particular entry uniquely within the database; a tracking number of sorts. If you choose to use the Multi-Load Remove feature of this site, this ID will be required for the site to find the particular load and remove it. Therefore, the ID must be unique. Whatever you enter for the ID will have your user name, "anonymous", prepended to it. For example, if you enter 123, then the ID for this load will be anonymous123. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to remember what you enter if you want to delete it or modify it later.
- LoadingType must be either Drop or Live. It is optional and can be left out, but the tilde must still be present, meaning that you will have two tildes one after the other.
- Content can be anything up to 15 characters. It is optional and can be left out, but the tilde must still be present; same as LoadingType.
- LoadSize must be either FULL or LTL.
- OrigCity (Originating City) is a city name. Include the spaces if more than one word.
- OrigState (Originating State) is the 2-letter abbreviation for the state in which OrigCity exists.
- Date1 is the first date that the load can be picked up, in the form mm/dd/yy.
- Date2 is the last date that the load can be picked up, in the form mm/dd/yy.
- DestCity (Destination City) is a city name. Include the spaces if more than one word.
- DestState (Destination State) is the 2-letter abbreviation for the state in which DestCity exists.
- TruckTypes can contain up to three (3) truck/trailer types separated by commas, each of which must be spelled exactly as theloadpost.com spells them. Place no spaces/blanks in front of or after a comma.
- Pay is the price to be paid for carrying this load to its destination and can be up to 14 characters. Something like $x/ton/mile. It is optional and can be left out, but the tilde before it must be present.
- The "select fields" immediately below are to help you with spelling and capitalization and do nothing else.
